Frequently Asked Questions

We book 30 minute and 45 minute lesson blocks for Monday to Thursday from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. Occasionally lessons may be held on Fridays for make-up lessons or extra music festival prep sessions.

At our discretion we may make arrangements for unique lesson lengths and times. If you have questions regarding your lesson length or frequency, let us know!

Yes, when our lesson times are filled, or our available times conflict with your schedule, we create a wait list and will inform you via e-mail when there is an opening.

Lessons are $40 for a 30 minute lesson and $55 for a 45 minute lesson each week. Lesson fees are paid monthly and are due the first lesson of each month for that month. Payments can be made in cash or via e-transfer, with invoices sent out the last Friday of every month for the upcoming month of lessons. There are additional costs associated with live performance opportunities and the music festival, such as piano accompaniment and festival registration fees. Yes, our studio is closed for statutory holidays. Our regular studio services generally run year round.

Our regular lesson times do not run through the summer however we DO offer lessons through the summer with reduced lesson availability. If you’re interested in continuing lessons through the summer, or joining up for the first time, then let us know!

With 24 hours of notice we can arrange for a make-up lesson at your teacher’s discretion or cancel your lesson at no charge, giving you a credit on your next month’s invoice. If less than 24 hours of notice is given, the lesson will be charged as if it occurred.

Studio policies will be discussed in person during your introductory lesson.

Our studio is conveniently located in central Grande Prairie, and the exact address will be communicated upon receiving our Welcome email.
